Nothing says Autumn and prepares you for a long winters nap like the rich, malt-forward complexity of Märzens, the sweet, smooth breadiness of a nitro porter, or the return of your favorite brew last year (or in Asheville case, the Fall before that – sad face.)

With Archetype’s new and improved approach to A Beverage for Every Type, not only can you look forward to this seasons brewhouse releases, but our non-alcoholic, cocktail and other beverage options are inspired by the turning leaves as well.

Check out below; at the time of this post – early October – the releases pouring now, and the exciting things in the near future!

COCKTAILS – EVER EXPANDING

In addition to our already popular Asheville Vodka by Cultivated Cocktails, and Altos Plata tequila…We added Chemist Gin – barrel rested right here in our small humble town of Asheville, and North Carolina’s Southern Star High-Rye Bourbon to the lineup; and along with it came and still to come seasonally inspired new additions to our Specialty Cocktails menu. Expect something apple-y in the near future!

FALL BREWHOUSE BREWS RELEASED:

Phantom’s Embrace | Czech Dark Lager

Burnished Soul | Coffee Porter

Oktoberfest Märzen

COMING BACK SOON:

Unruly Mystic | Coffee Porter

Werewolf Bar Mitzvah | Hazy IPA

If you’re a local, fortunate enough to have been around in the highly traumatic aftermath of Hurricane Helene, then you may remember this beer for its one-time rebranded name of “Highly Potable” since it was one of very few things anyone around here felt safe drinking. But, it was always, and will henceforth remain Werewolf Bar Mitzvah. Returning to the taps before Halloween 2025. Somehow I don’t think anything will ever top the naturally occurring scare factor of Halloween 2024.

NEW RELEASES TO LOOK FORWARD TO:

A Brett Beer collaboration brew with Burning Blush Brewing

____

Kedur’s Annual Homebrew moved to the big batch system at Archetype; his Fall Farmhouse small batch (this one will be super tasty and won’t last long! Stay tuned to our socials!)

____

False Antagonist: Sour

The creativity that comes from this rotating style gives way to two seasonal flavors. Expect a cranberry sour, and a chocolate raspberry for Valentine’s Day!
