Our Original Home
Archetype – West, our original location, is nestled over in West Asheville on Haywood Road, and is our production facility. The open-format taproom is great for large groups or small groups, with plenty of seating inside, outside, and on our rooftop deck. Enjoy a beer straight from the source, take a look at our 10-barrel brewhouse at work, and grab some bottles, cans, or growlers to-go.
Dogs: We love dogs! Just be sure they stay on their leash and attached to their owner while at the taproom. Follow @barketypeavl to see all of our favorite furry friends at the brewery!

We have small, prepacked local snacks available, including Poppy popcorn, Hickory Nut Gap Farm meat sticks, and assorted pretzels from Asheville Pretzel company. There are two restaurants in our shared courtyard, and we always encourage you to bring takeout or delivery to the taproom!
