Spring is almost here! Whether you’ve already got your garden planted, or you’re still plotting and planning, join us for a meet up of other AVL gardeners to swap seeds, starts, and clippings in our back beer garden area at Archetype Brewing in West Asheville. Everything from edible to decorative plants are welcome, just bring a few to trade with your fellow green-thumbed neighbors! At 2pm, Amy from Appalachian Seeds will be presenting a tutorial on gardening, focusing on row cover and pests. Get your questions answered by the experts!

You’ll also be able to purchase seeds and starts from Villagers Urban Homestead Shop at the swap, to fill in any gaps you might have in your lineup. Keep an eye out for a special guest appearance from Kudzu the Goat!

We’ll have live music all afternoon from Sarah Louise, a special on our Talking to Plants Witbier (of course), and Owl Bakery serving up special Talking to Plants pastries made with our beer!
