Archetype Brewing is excited to announce that its downtown location on Broadway Street, the Tap Lounge + Venue, is turning two in May. To celebrate, the brewery is hosting a Broadway Birthday Bash on Saturday, May 15th. On that day from 2:00 – 5:00 there will be live music from local artist, 5j Barrow, food trucks, and free cake. To continue the celebration and to show Archetype’s focus on community, $1 of every Original Blonde that is purchased will be donated to Homeward Bound WNC. Original Blonde was Archetype’s first brew way back in 2017. Homeward Bound has worked to combat homelessness in Western North Carolina in different forms since 1988. 

2019 was the Tap Lounge + Venue’s first full year of operation, and it had many successes that year. 2020 was shaping up to be a super successful year with almost all weekends booked for some time of event during the year. However, because of Covid, many of those events have been rescheduled or canceled. Bookings are reappearing in 2021 and beyond, and the future of Archetype Brewing’s downtown location looks incredibly bright.

All members of our community are invited to enjoy free cake, live music, food trucks, and to give back to a great cause on Saturday, May 15th from 2:00 – 5:00.
