The Salvation Army and Archetype Brewing Team up to Tackle Angel Tree

Due to the immense impact of COVID-19, The Salvation Army teams up with local brewery to launch iconic holiday fundraising campaign earlier than ever to meet increasing need

Asheville, NC (November 9, 2020)— The Salvation Army of Asheville & Buncombe County is teaming up with local favorite, Archetype Brewing, to launch Angel Tree, on November 14th, at their West Asheville location.  In an effort to meet an increased need due to COVID-19, Archetype will be a prime location for Angel Tree adoptions and Angel Tree gift deliveries.  The proximity of The Salvation Army Boys & Girls Clubs and Archetype brewing, both nestled on Haywood Road in the heart of West Asheville, creates ease for locals wanting to pour into their communities this holiday season.

“We are so excited to be partnering with such a generous and community focused local business.  We hope this collaboration creates excitement and allows our locals a convenient way to get involved and support our youth this Christmas,”

–  Erin Wilson, The Salvation Army Director of Development and Communications.

With requests for assistance are at an all-time high, Angel Tree is a pivotal program that provides local youth essential needs for Christmas.  On every Angel Tree Tag a child’s name, age, need, and gift suggestions is provided.  Each family registered for the program is screened through a process that helps verify their need and The Salvation Army works closely with community partners to ensure that every family is being served by only one agency.

Every Angel Adoption provides help and hope to those in need.  Businesses and community organizations that would like to adopt or volunteer for the program can tsaavl.org for more information.
