Special Events at Archetype – West:

January 15th, 12-3: Mountain Pet Rescue Adoption Event: Asheville’s Mountain Pet Rescue returns to Haywood from 1-4 pm on the third Saturday of every month for a dog adoption event. Link to Facebook Event.

January 31st, 3-8 PM: Community Blood Drive w/The Blood Connection: Archetype Brewing is partnering with The Blood Connection to sponsor regular community blood drives for our AVL community. The bloodmobile will be at 265 Haywood Road, Asheville. Each blood donor will receive a $20 Visa gift card as a thank you for donating! Link to sign up to donate.

Recurring Events at Archetype – West:

Mondays: Pint Night. Get a core pour for only $4 all day long on Haywood. This is our nod to the locals in our community. Join our WAVL community for some deliciously discounted brews. Link to Facebook Event. Pro tip: Which beers are Core Beers? Just look for the green stars on the menu!

Tuesdays: “Absolutely Alright Trivia with Drew Fowler” happens every Tuesday starting at 6:30. Prizes include $20 + $10 gift cards and stickers. Pro tip: schedule your Gan Shan or Pizza Mind order ahead of time to have it delivered to your table before trivia starts. Link to Facebook event.

Wednesdays: Join Jus’ Running for running group every Wednesday and drink some beers with friends after. Link to Facebook Event.

Sundays: Sunday Sessions Live Music from local artists in AVL happens every Sunday from 3-6 on Haywood. Check out the upcoming lineup here. 

Special Events at Archetype – North: 

Sunday, January 9th from 4-8: The Post-Holiday Reopening of Archetype – North: Join us from 4-8 as we reopen Archetype – North on Sunday, January 9th. We will have charcuterie + drink specials (order any pour of your choice + a charcuterie board for $20) and trivia with our new host Chuck Giezentanner starting at 4:30 PM. Link to Facebook Event.

Thursday, January 6th from 7-10: The AVL Jazz Workshop: Join professors from UNCA’s Department of Music and jam out while drinking local brews from Archetype every Thursday from 7-11 at Archetype – North. There is plenty of parking behind the building after 5:00 PM. Looking for food? Whole Foods hot bar is a 4 minute walk away, and plenty of local eateries are right down the road on Lexington. Sunday, January 16th at 4:00 PM: Alcohol Ink & Drink: Beautiful Landscapes can be created with Alcohol Inks! Come and learn the different techniques with nationally published Artist Sherri Welser as she demonstrates all the fun ways to create this beautiful landscape.Participants create 2 landscape projects (frame not included) in the colors of their choice. Alcohol inks are vibrant and unique and even beginner results are amazing! All supplies included .. so come and experience this wonderfully creative workshop while enjoying craft beers at Archetype – North! Sign up here.
